EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional returns November 27, 2026, with a new narrator schedule through December 30. The nightly program pairs a celebrity narrator with a mass choir and orchestra for a live telling of the Christmas story at America Gardens Theatre. Match your EPCOT date to the lineup, then decide whether a dining package or standby fits your evening.

Narrators and showtimes

Gary Sinise is scheduled Nov. 29–Dec. 1; Benjamin Bratt Dec. 2–3; Whoopi Goldberg Dec. 4–5; Robin Roberts Dec. 6–7; Jason Kelce Dec. 8–9; Neil Patrick Harris Dec. 10–12; Josh Groban Dec. 13–14; Lauren Daigle Dec. 15–16; Ralph Macchio Dec. 17–19; Henry Winkler Dec. 20–21; Lacey Chabert Dec. 22–23; Jodi Benson Dec. 24–25; Simu Liu Dec. 26–27; and Eva Longoria Dec. 28–30. Disney had not named the Nov. 27–28 narrators when the lineup was announced Oct. 6.

Performances are scheduled at 4:45 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Schedules can change, so recheck Disney’s event page near your visit.

Dining package or standby?

Dining packages pair a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant with reserved seating for a performance. Disney says reservations open Oct. 14, 2026. This can suit guests who already want a sit-down meal and value a more predictable seating plan. Follow the package’s arrival instructions.

Standby is the no-package option; guests are seated as space permits. Allow time to queue, particularly for popular narrators and holiday-week performances. Standby works best if you can be flexible about showtime and adjust your evening if a performance fills.

Fit the show into your day

Treat the Processional as an evening anchor. Check park hours and performance times, leave time to reach the American Adventure pavilion, and avoid booking a meal that overlaps your chosen show. Keep more than one date or showtime in mind: holiday crowds and narrator popularity can affect demand.

Dining availability, menus and prices vary, so confirm current details before purchasing. If anyone in your party needs a particular access arrangement, review Disney’s accessibility information and contact the park with specific questions.

For a first visit, choose a performance that fits your EPCOT day rather than building the whole trip around one slot. A narrator may help decide the night, but a flexible plan leaves room for dinner and the rest of World Showcase.

Choosing your night and building a backup plan

The schedule can help narrow down your visit, but decide how important the narrator is to your group before changing park days. If a particular person is the main draw, check the latest lineup and look at nearby dates in case your trip can shift. If you are primarily interested in the choir and orchestra, you may have more flexibility. Disney’s lineup announcement lists narrator dates, but it does not promise a specific showtime for each performer beyond the nightly schedule.

The three performances create different tradeoffs. An earlier show may fit before a late dinner, while an 8 p.m. performance leaves more of the afternoon open and could make the end of the evening feel later. Think about children’s bedtimes, mobility needs, transportation back to your resort and whether you want to stay in World Showcase after the show. A carefully chosen time can make the Processional a highlight without turning the whole day into a race.

Keep your schedule flexible if weather, park operations or crowd levels change your plans. Before leaving for EPCOT, check the official app and any park announcements. On arrival, confirm the theatre entrance and seating instructions with cast members. Avoid relying on old crowd reports or last year’s exact procedures; event operations can change from one season to another.

A simple plan is often enough: identify one or two acceptable performances, choose a meal time that does not conflict, and leave a buffer before entering the theatre area. That buffer is especially useful for a large group or anyone who prefers to move at a slower pace. If the first-choice performance looks too difficult, switch to another time rather than sacrificing the rest of the park day.

Quick checklist

Before heading out, verify the current narrator listing, confirm the performance time in the app, and leave space in your schedule to arrive calmly. If you are using standby, be prepared to adjust to a later show. If you bought a dining package, follow its specific seating instructions rather than relying on general standby timing.
